Also A reminder about the Dragon event this Saturday (February 1, 2014) That the dragon event is at 12 NOON CDT (10am Pacific time) Don't miss the action and adventure involved in the epic battle against 10 dragons. The best part is you don't even lose your things! The downside is that every time you die during the event your faction will lose 4 power. So be very careful not to die to much least you could endanger your faction and being raided. Good luck to everyone during the event. Oh and one more thing players participating have to play in the event from start to finish. Dragon Event

◘ ARE YOU GUYS READY?! ◘

It's about that time again and you've been pelted with reminders of the up and coming Dragon Event this Saturday. However, I'm, here to elaborate on the event itself. Because I am sure you all already know that its's at Noon CDT(12) and or 10 am Pacific Central. But what else are they not telling you? 

How about the prize for competing through the whole competition? That's right, a prize! A lovely and ever mysterious dragon egg, worth a mighty 32 diamond Blocks, and a snazzy title of DragonSlayer! How cool is that? 

Or that there will be 10 mighty Enderdragons flying around, but killing them wont be easy! Not when they have their reinforced obsidian spires that heal every nick and ding your arrows put into them. I haven't even touched on the Endermen let alone the other players! 

Sounds like a challenge right? If you enjoy a good sport and a challenge, you should attend the Dragon Event! Oh there is one more thing I forgot to mention, if you die, you don't loose your stuff! It's a win-win! 

Just meet up at spawn in front of (or behind) the Event Gate. It's not hard to miss and you may have already seen it.

 As some of you know the next Dragon Event is getting closer, which means its time to stock up on diamonds to repair your armor in the assault against the black smaug.

For they are Ender, they are Death. 

P.S. get some endstone while your in the end and use it to tunnel inside and up the spires, not outside them, trying to scale an obsidian tower on the outside is suicidal idiocracy

Hysteria's Nations Here and Now

What is happening on the server? Well over the course of the last few weeks many nations have risen and fell. Their has even been wars and rumors of wars. Several large groups of allied nations have joined forces to govern over aspects of the land and build public law, how long this group will maintain power is a mystery, but it is clear that the balance of power is teetering between many groups at the moment. The war includes almost every main faction on the server and could go down in Hysterian hystoryia as a "Great World War" only time will tell. Here are some factions that have made new bases or renovated.

A new DivineHell outpost located close to Hillside Village that is said to belong to Herobrine himself.

This is the newly renovated DracoVault said to be in a far away ocean in a undisclosed location.

A mysterious faction that has sprung up from the depths like a great beast. This faction may look like a cobble stone hut, but looks can be deceiving.

Winternet, former R10, has built a new kingdom in the beautiful mountain countryside. They have sculpted the landscape into a wonderful work of art that is pleasant to the eye and fully functional as a home for faction operations.

DivineHell on top of a magnificent mountain plateau has now taken the form of a great dragon mounted upon the peak. This base has clearly been built to show the outward impression of their wealth and power.

In other non-faction related news a fellow Hysterian (OnyxBurn3dout) has built what he has dubbed the "Oynx Tunnel" this tunnel passes through a tall mountain located at Hillside village. This tunnel will hopefully be used by players to better transverse the landscape and to help newcomers find a pathway out of Hillside into the wilderness.
Hysteria staff asks players to not grief, block, or remove the lights from this path. If you see that the path is damaged please feel free to help others out and patch it or lay down torches.

Well, I don't know what to post really, BUT...

I'm thinking of doing drawings that are Minecraft related (preferably Hysteria) that apply to the same rules as in our server here on this blog... Keep the suggestions family friendly (maybe except maybe a war or fight scene, but it can't be morbid!) I might also accept to do faction portraits... but the same rules apply.

Happy Wednesday!

Wow it has been a busy week! With all these raids, explorations, and builds! It's been a little crazy! But really, that poor ship! I bet it was impressive! Lets hope they'll rebuild! 

On another topic I have often found myself sitting back and thinking about when I first experienced Minecraft. I had no idea what I was doing and ended up digging myself into a hole. With out a clue how to really move, I got frustrated and closed out the game. Telling my mum and my brother that it wasn't for me. A year or so later, I saw them having so much fun that I gave it another go, and was a lot more patient. 

What was your first experience like with Minecraft? Let me know I love to share stories and I have plenty of my own! I'll gladly share my moments of failure if you are all interested. They're fun now to think about.

Hysteria's Raiding News + PVP Tournament info

Hey Guys!

So the big raiding news of the week is Swashbuclkers have been raided. The raid happened in the last few days and left their ship all but destroyed. The attackers remain unknown as no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The next move for the ruined

faction remains unknown.

In other news, plans for the Hysterian pvp tournament are coming along. We are tossing up between using diamonds or money for entry fee, and figuring out ideas for prizes.

Hysteria's Hillside Embassies

Several large factions have claimed faction Embassies near Hillside village to push the issues of Diplomacy and peace with other nations. Any factions that oppose them are said to be meet with a large army for retaliating factions all in a alliance to promote the freedom to build.
Hysteria's Official Embassy Rules:
Any Faction can request an embassy.
Drewcraft9 will appoint a plot of land for a faction that wants an embassy.
Players are not to live in their embassy or turn it into storage place.
Embassies can be taken by other factions if the power of that faction is low enough.
Embassies will not provide safe haven during war.
Players can kill others inside an embassy however they may feel the wrath of the surrounding factions for violating the peace treaty of freedom to build.
Embassies can be used to promote your faction and invite new members.
Obscene language, symbols, or other publicly inappropriate builds are not allowed in Embassy BLVD.
Play fair and have fun.
