We are back and with a new name!

The Hysteria Network!

I have been hard at work to update the server to Java version 1.12.2 only to find out that the Aquatic Update (1.14) will be releasing any day now.

Hysteria will be going to the  Aquatic Update around 1 month after the initial release in order to ensure all plugins and mods are updated by there respective creators.


Currently there are no plans to update/change the world to accommodate the Aquatic Update, but it is something I have been thinking about.

Currently the servers plugin list has been reworked. Many Plugins were Removed, Added, or Replaced.

The core plugins still remain such as Faction and MCMMO, but we now have new voting and reward systems.

In the coming months the shop and value of items will change in order to better balance the 'Iconomy'.

The server is currently down for the rest of Friday May 18 and should be back up and operational Saturday morning May 19. Thank you for understanding.

I would like to apologize for the server being neglected for the 1.12.2 update that should have been implemented in November 2017. And for the server being offline for 3 months. 

I recently graduated from college with my Bachelors degree, moved to another city 200 miles away, and got engaged to the love of my life.

Things are really changing in my world.

That is why I am now looking for full time staff that can better maintain the server in my absence.
I will not be gone, I will just not have the time to log into the server in order to handle disputes or get the know the community outside of this blog and other online platforms we are using to communicate.

The credentials and qualities I am looking for are:

• Gregarious personality
• Leadership skills
• Some Programing experience
• Conflict resolution skills
• A minimum of 8 hours of your week
• Knowledge in World Edit
• Google Blogger or Minecraft Enjin.com experience.
• Someone to maintain all advertisements
• Includes Bumping submissions
• Updating Banners
• Fixing descriptions
• Finding new platforms to advertise
• Someone with Youtube experience
• I have recording software to provide
• Editing software is available.
• Photoshop experience for Thumbnails.

Currently there are only 3 administrative staff:

1. Drewcraft9
2. Kryios
3. RocketmenR10

All three of us have responsibilities and families and that makes it hard for things to get updated.

The positions are for general staff ranks that may include individual perks depending on your qualifications.

Any former staff are free to return to there previous duties baring they adhere to the above list of credentials.

I am looking for a minimum of 5 staff members and a maximum of 10.

1.10 testing

Hysteria Update and Bug fixes

Hello Hysterians,

I have more update news! But first the players whom helped in the construction of the 1.9 update will receive $10,000 in game money and a special set of items that they can choose to receive in either the Factions or Hostility world.


 1.10 Frost Burn Update

Yes that is right I have a test server up at the IP hysteria.no-ip.info:25566 if you want to play and help with bug fixes. Players that do this will receive the same pack as mentioned above.

Updates & Bug fixes:

• Fixed players able to fly in the Nether world
• Losing the item in your off hand when you change worlds 
• Beware there is no immediate patch for this yet! Please be careful.
• added a Nether world for the Hostility world on the 1.10 update
• removed player money loss when killed in a minigame
• Updates to spawn buildings
• Added the /hub command for fast travel to the minigame hub 
• (Shortcut of  /warp hub)
• Added /wild and /wilderness as short cuts to factions safezones
• Added /hostility to warp to the hostility survival world easily
• Added /shop as a short cut to the signshop
• fast command for /warp signshop
• Added the new Chorus flower to the shop so you can grow Purpur
• Added dragons breath potion to the shop
• Updated the Herobrine maze minigame
• Added a new bomberman minigame arena (Bomberman on Ice)
• Added a new minigame game type, HideNSeek.
• One map is released and more are to come soon
• Updated old arena builds with Barrier blocks
• Added command signs to the minigames to force start the game for a price
• Fixed MCMMO 
• Fixed losing MCMMO levels in minigames
• MCMMO alchamy skill has bugs still
As of right now Minecraft spigot 1.9 and 1.10 are not compatible with potion ID's. I did a quick patch for this error however there are some potions that I could not get to be recognized my MCMMO.

Minecraft 1.9 Update information

Hello Hysterians,
The 1.9 update update is now stable and live! Yes I realize that 1.10 just came out today however we are one of the most up to date Minecraft servers out there. I do plan on updating to 1.10 by mid-July. Do not fret polar bears are coming soon! 

The next bit I want to talk about is how to load mods for Minecraft 1.9 that are allowed on Hysteria!
Please follow the directions in my video.

Hysteria 1.9 Update

Hello Hysterians,

I have wonderful news! Hysteria will be updating to 1.9 very soon, but I need your help. Right now I have a test server running on 1.9.2 that will become live after it has been thoroughly tested. That is where you all come in. Everyone is invited to play and test this server. Keep in mind that anything you do or build here will not carry over to the new updated server.

All People that help will receive a one of a kind kit for your troubles.
You also get you know that you made Hysteria great!

I would like for players to try to glitch, exploit, and crash the server for testing purposes.

Hysteria Spawn Update 2

Hello Hysterians
Welcome back again to another spawn update. In this post I have linked a video of me doing some improvements to the servers spawn. However I did much more that you might not be able to see. Here is a list of changes I made.

• Factions no longer requires money
• Factions no longer have a bank
• The version of spigot got minor tweaks to help with optimization of players
• NoCheatPlus was updated to be less sensitive for:
• Block movement
• moving wrongly
• flying
• & mining
• major errors with connectivity were resolved
• and finally 6 gigs of ram were dedicated to the server opposed to the prior 1 gigabyte or ram.

Hello Hysteria

As you may have noticed Hysteria has been in a state of flux. I have been struggling with connectivity as of late, but I believe the majority of it has been resolved. I want to announce that the server will be undergoing many changes with the new 1.9 Combat Update. Many of the changes will be with MCMMO and Factions to make the game more fair and fast paced. Due to a recent update to Buycraft I will also be adding new packages to the donation site making donations easy cheap and very rewarding to the player!
Please submit ideas if you have them I am open to new suggestions. Also I will start making new advertisements to help promote the server as well as begin posting regular videos on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgiOU6jewrjE1gWUkQL3Z9A/featured

Hysteria Reborn!

Hello my fellow Hysterians!

I am making this post to inform everyone that has not heard that Hysteria will be undergoing a radical update. The world files for the factions world and the nether are being reset. The radius for the nether will be set to 1000 blocks and again was custom built by Drewcraft9 to be double layered. The factions world will have a radius of 3000 blocks. The world is also a custom version of the natural world type. Here is a quick list of some of the things fixed or changed in the update.

• Updated to Minecraft Spigot 1.8.8
• Factions was updated to the massivecore version
• You can now claim land (sorry about that)
• Autocrafter was removed due to being discontinued
• New world Hostility was added
• 1000 Block radius
• no Factions
• no MCMMO
• Added Grief Prevention http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/
• 1 spawn safezone
• No PVP
• Always night
• Hard mode
• Updated Permission groups
• New name colors
• Players can now use color codes on signs
• Mcmmo was reset

• Buycraft was updated with new packs now half the original price

• Nametagedit was updated to show staff and vip titles above the head

Combat Logging

Ello everyone, mihr here with exciting news! I know combat logging has been a really annoying problem on the server but that issue is now resolved with the Combat Tag Plug in.

The combat logging plug in won't effect Admins or Drew but it will effect all other players. Basically if you get hit by another player and log out within the next 10 seconds you will be killed and drop all of your stuff. When you log back on again you will find the re spawn screen. Also don't worry about mobs, if a mob hits you it won't trigger the plug in to effect you, you can tp away from your enemy as well without consequences. If you have any other concerns I didn't address contact staff and we'll be happy to help.

Hysteria is Back!

Hello Hysterians!

I am happy to be announcing that after almost a week of down time the server is back up and running. Thank you all for being so understanding through what I am sure is a restless and frustrating time. For all of your patience I have given every current player 30 power in faction and removed the auto removal for the time being. The auto removal will be set back to normal in one weeks time. Also the power will gradually go back to it's standard 25. Again from the bottom of my heart thank you for all of the support!

Server Down

Ello everyone, mihr here. So as you might have noticed the server is down, Drew's internet is down currently but I assure you he's working to fix it so don't panic. I'll re-post on the blog when it comes up. Hope you guys are havin' a great day!

Minecraft Name changes.

Hi All,

This post is in regards to the new Minecraft service of being able to change your name once every thirty days. This is a service supported by Minecraft, and ONLY Minecraft. This service is not supported by most of the plugins on the server (The large ones being Factions and MCMMO)

Long story short for the people who dont get why im pointing this out is, if you change your name you will:

Lose any position in a faction your in, as your old "Character" will retain their position in the faction.

Lose any MCMMO skills and levels.

Lose any Iconomy moneys.


We as staff will not fix these issues for you. We may help on a case by case basis, but will not help you just because you want to change your name.

Please make it easier on everyone and stick with your current name.

Bukkit 1.8.1 Update

I have exciting news Hysterians. Hysteria will be updating to the real full version of 1.8.1 with block and game mechanic support. The estimated time of the next server update is February 1, 2015. The reason we are waiting so long is so we can test the plugins and current machanics so to give you a better gaming experience.
