Combat Logging

Ello everyone, mihr here with exciting news! I know combat logging has been a really annoying problem on the server but that issue is now resolved with the Combat Tag Plug in.

The combat logging plug in won't effect Admins or Drew but it will effect all other players. Basically if you get hit by another player and log out within the next 10 seconds you will be killed and drop all of your stuff. When you log back on again you will find the re spawn screen. Also don't worry about mobs, if a mob hits you it won't trigger the plug in to effect you, you can tp away from your enemy as well without consequences. If you have any other concerns I didn't address contact staff and we'll be happy to help.

Hysteria is Back!

Hello Hysterians!

I am happy to be announcing that after almost a week of down time the server is back up and running. Thank you all for being so understanding through what I am sure is a restless and frustrating time. For all of your patience I have given every current player 30 power in faction and removed the auto removal for the time being. The auto removal will be set back to normal in one weeks time. Also the power will gradually go back to it's standard 25. Again from the bottom of my heart thank you for all of the support!

Server Down

Ello everyone, mihr here. So as you might have noticed the server is down, Drew's internet is down currently but I assure you he's working to fix it so don't panic. I'll re-post on the blog when it comes up. Hope you guys are havin' a great day!

Minecraft Name changes.

Hi All,

This post is in regards to the new Minecraft service of being able to change your name once every thirty days. This is a service supported by Minecraft, and ONLY Minecraft. This service is not supported by most of the plugins on the server (The large ones being Factions and MCMMO)

Long story short for the people who dont get why im pointing this out is, if you change your name you will:

Lose any position in a faction your in, as your old "Character" will retain their position in the faction.

Lose any MCMMO skills and levels.

Lose any Iconomy moneys.


We as staff will not fix these issues for you. We may help on a case by case basis, but will not help you just because you want to change your name.

Please make it easier on everyone and stick with your current name.

Bukkit 1.8.1 Update

I have exciting news Hysterians. Hysteria will be updating to the real full version of 1.8.1 with block and game mechanic support. The estimated time of the next server update is February 1, 2015. The reason we are waiting so long is so we can test the plugins and current machanics so to give you a better gaming experience.

January Dragon Event Time change

This months dragon event has been postponed to Sunday January 11 due to Kryios' Birthday. Kryios is turning 23 so make sure to congratulate him. Kryios and Drewcraft9 would not have been able to watch over the event, that is the main reason for the postponement. The event will start at 1:00 pm Central USA time, (2 pm Eastcoast, 11am Westcoast)

Update News

Hello Hysterian's I have some exciting news to bring to you. The Nations of Hysteria shall be updating to the 1.8.1 Spigot adaptation of bukkit. The server will be availible to all players trying to access it from clients between the 1.7.2 and 1.8.1 updates. This means that the server will not have any of the new 1.8 items or mobs. The point of doing this is to increase the population.
Here is a list of bugs that are currently in the game.

• Citizens (plugin for statues) show up in the tab list. To avoid this just use "/list".
• CreativeGates (plugin for custom portals) please save the coordinates of your portal locations so you do no lose them. This plugin was updated and in now used differently. The portal can be made of any materials and be any shape or size and still connect. To connect 2 or more portals you must make 2 clocks and give them the same name. The portal also has to be made with one Emerald block on the bottom. Click the Emerald in the portal frame with the custom clock and do the same with the other portal and this will create an open connection to the other side. What is nice it this is a more secure way to make portals. More information and a tutorial for this plugin will be coming soon.
• SignShops (buy items with signs) The shop was updated for the Iconomy money in the server.
• Shopkeepers (NPC's at spawn that sell items) were balanced to support SignShops.
• HerobrineAI (Herobrine haunts players) was turned down so he appears less often but is now deadlier and is harder to defeat. 
• Showcase (Flouting items that can't be picked up) This was added for the SignShop to help players see what was for sell.
• MCMMO (RPG style leveling) This was nerfed for players at high levels so decrease chances of things like double drops and no abilities are 100% now. Also the Unarmed ability Berserk was permanently disabled do to a glitch that allowed players to duplicate items.
• If you are logged in using 1.8 or above a few items have missing textures due to the item ID changes. Here is a small list.
• Fire Blocks (became flint and steel)
• Portal Blocks (Looks like a netherbrick)
• End Portal Blocks (End portal Frame)
• Full Stone Slabs (No Texture Looks fine when placed)
• Full Sandstone Slabs (No Texture, Looks fine when placed)
• SoulGems (Sometimes No Texture Works Fine)
• MonsterSpawners (Some have No Texture)

The Hysteria Test server will be up until Friday Dec. 19 with the open IP of 

hysteria.no-ip.info:25566

If any player finds a serious broken feature, legitimate exploit in the servers signshop (on the main server), or something wrong with any plugins such as; MCMMO, Factions, Multiverse, etc. Please contact Drewcraft9 on skype, if you find a serious enough problem you will earn $500000 in game money to spend in the signshop on what ever you like.
Hysterians are only allowed one sum of $500000 per player.

The server will be fully updated and live on 1.8.1 by Friday afternoon. Thank you.
